v0.5

· In development. Every app got its own design identity and a round of new features. These builds aren't released and can't be downloaded yet; features may change before release.

  1. Pixfinch

    v0.5In development

Scrolling capture, an All-In-One hotkey, a measure tool with WCAG and APCA contrast, and a contact-sheet history you can search by the text inside each shot.

    Everything the current build includes
    • Capture an area, a window or the full screen; one All-In-One hotkey lets you choose the mode as you go, and Repeat Last Area re-takes a shot in a keystroke
    • Scrolling capture stitches a long page into a single image
    • Redact sensitive text in one step: emails, card numbers, API keys and more are found on-device and covered with an opaque box
    • Measure the gaps between interface elements and pick colours, with a WCAG and APCA contrast checker
    • Mark up with curved arrows, a hand-drawn style, numbered steps, a magnifier and a spotlight
    • Beautify with Auto Balance backgrounds built from your screenshot's own colours, saved looks and social-media sizes
    • A stack of quick-access thumbnails after each shot: drag into any app, copy, annotate, pin or share
    • Record an area to MP4 or GIF; history is a searchable contact sheet that finds the text inside your screenshots
  2. Bytepliers

    v0.5In development

37 tools, clipboard detection that ranks its guesses and explains them, and ⇧⌥⌘B to convert the clipboard in place.

    Everything the current build includes
    • 37 tools in one window, grouped into format, convert, encode, inspect and generate
    • Notices what you copied and ranks the best tools, with the reason (“10-digit integer — looks like Unix seconds”)
    • ⇧⌥⌘B detects, converts and replaces your clipboard without opening a window
    • Format SQL, XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and convert CSV and JSON both ways with a table preview
    • Turn cURL commands into Swift, fetch or Python, turn JSON into Swift or TypeScript types, and query it with JSONPath
    • Decode X.509 certificates (subject, issuer, expiry, names, fingerprints) and work out Unix permissions
    • Chain tools into pipelines and save them as recipes you can run from ⌘K, the menu bar, Shortcuts or a bytepliers:// link
    • Per-tool history that stays on your Mac, your own JavaScript transforms, and everything runs offline
  3. Notchjar

    v0.5In development

Live-activity ears beside the notch, now playing tinted by the album art with swipe controls, and a jiggle-to-summon file basket.

    Everything the current build includes
    • Live activities beside the notch: now playing, timers, your next meeting, and a dot when a microphone or camera is in use
    • A taller peek when you plug in a charger, connect a Bluetooth device or change the volume
    • Now playing tinted by the album art, with a scrub bar and swipes to skip or seek
    • Clipboard history with pinning and search that skips password-manager copies, plus a scratchpad
    • A shelf for files with quick actions: compress or convert images, copy text out of them, AirDrop or share
    • Jiggle the pointer while dragging files to summon a floating basket; Macs without a notch get a pill
    • Every feature is a module you can switch on or off, reorder and give a shortcut
    • Smart hover that opens when you head for the notch, haptic feedback and a minimal mode
  4. Mailloft

    v0.5In development

⌘K and single-key triage with undo, the Screener for first-time senders, smart tabs and a visible privacy shield.

    Everything the current build includes
    • Works with any IMAP/SMTP account, with a setup wizard that finds the servers and links to each provider's app-password page; passwords stay in your Keychain
    • ⌘K command bar and single-key triage — E to archive, H to snooze, R to reply — with an undo toast every time
    • The Screener: a first email from a stranger waits for your Allow or Block, and nothing is deleted on the server
    • Reply Later, Set Aside and “waiting for a reply” piles, with a reminder when nobody has answered
    • Undo Send and Send Later (while Mailloft is open and your Mac is awake)
    • Smart tabs split the inbox into Primary, Updates, Promotions and Paper Trail
    • A privacy shield strips tracking pixels and link trackers, flags look-alike senders and mismatched links, and shows what it blocked
    • One-click unsubscribe after you confirm, reply templates with fill-in variables, and an on-device summary of long threads
  5. Gizmojar

    v0.5In development

The ⌥Space command bar is now the home screen, with recipes, watch folders and compress-to-a-target-size.

    Everything the current build includes
    • Press ⌥Space for a command bar: type “gif” or “compress”, or drop files and see only the actions that fit them
    • Video: convert, compress, trim with a looping preview, merge, make GIFs, change speed, replace or extract the audio
    • Compress to a target size — a video under N MB, an image under N KB or a PDF under N MB
    • Images: convert, resize, crop, watermark, strip metadata, remove backgrounds or make an icon set
    • PDFs: merge, split, reorder, sign, add or remove a password, or turn pages into images
    • Make scans searchable and transcribe audio and video on-device — nothing is uploaded
    • Recipes chain actions into one click, and watch folders run them on new files automatically
    • Your originals are never changed: results are saved only when a whole batch succeeds, with Undo and Reveal
  6. Gigabroom

    v0.5In development

A sunburst ⇄ treemap map that draws itself as the scan runs, a Developer Junk panel, and Smart Scan that shows exactly what you'll free.

    Everything the current build includes
    • A sunburst map that morphs into a treemap, and the scan draws the map as it goes
    • Developer Junk: Xcode DerivedData, simulators, node_modules, Homebrew and package caches, each labelled Safe, Regenerates or Review with a reason
    • Smart Scan queues the safe items and shows exactly how much you will free before anything moves
    • Collect items from anywhere; everything goes to the Trash after you confirm, and system folders and library contents are protected
    • What Grew compares with an earlier scan and shows what changed on the map
    • Duplicates by content, large and old files with a staleness score, and Quick Look
    • An uninstaller with leftover files and an architecture report, plus device backups, mail attachments and Photos libraries (reveal only)
    • A free-space ring in the menu bar with an alert when space runs low or shrinks fast
  7. Procowl

    v0.5In development

A black-HUD redesign and “What slowed my Mac?” — up to 30 days of history, kept on your Mac, that you can replay.

    Everything the current build includes
    • Live tiles for CPU, memory, disk, network, GPU, thermal state and battery power
    • “What slowed my Mac?” keeps up to 30 days of history on your Mac — drag the timeline to replay any moment
    • The Apps view groups helpers under their app with combined totals, with list and tree views too
    • The inspector shows code signature and Team ID, command line (secrets hidden), parent chain, listening ports and open files
    • Who is using port 3000? Look it up and stop it, and see dev servers grouped by project
    • A read-only browser for launch agents and daemons
    • Six optional menu bar items with graphs that turn amber, then red; each lists the apps behind the number
    • Alerts for CPU, memory growth and disk bursts, suspend and resume with confirmation, and colour-blind and monochrome palettes
  8. Codelasso

    v0.5In development

A Needs you / Working / Done board with ⌘J, Compare mode for 2–4 agents, and a diff drawer that sends line comments to the agent.

    Everything the current build includes
    • A board of every agent grouped as Needs you, Working or Done, with ⌘J to jump to the one that has waited longest
    • Run Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, a shell or your own presets as tabs, a split or a grid
    • Exact status when an agent reports it (an escape code or a Claude Code hook), a screen-reading fallback, and how long each has worked or been quiet
    • A git worktree per agent, and Compare mode: run one prompt on 2–4 agents and review their diffs side by side
    • A diff drawer with line comments that are sent straight to the agent's terminal
    • Commit, push and open a pull request, with drafts written on-device where available
    • ⌘K command palette, session templates that ask before launching up to 12 agents, and layouts you can save as files
    • Transcript export that hides likely secrets, optional phone alerts, and your workspace restored on relaunch

Screen Bolt and Gubb are released apps with their own release notes on their websites. RankBolt is planned and has no build yet.
