How can we help?

Start with the answers below. If they don't cover it, email us — include the app name, its version (in the app's About window) and your macOS version.

System requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later for the eight new apps.
  • Screen Bolt and Gubb: see their own websites for requirements.
  • An internet connection to activate a license, then at least once every 7 days.

The new apps are in development; requirements may change before release.

Getting started

Install, trial and license

MacSuite apps are direct downloads, not Mac App Store apps. Each one comes as a signed disk image: open it and drag the app to your Applications folder. The eight new apps aren't released yet, so there's nothing to download today — their pages say what the current development builds do.

By app

Permissions and app-specific help

For the current development builds. macOS asks for each permission the first time a feature needs it.

PixfinchScreenshot Tool

Screen Recording (System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Screen & System Audio Recording). Capturing, scrolling capture and recording all need it. Grant it, then quit and reopen Pixfinch.

BytepliersDeveloper Utilities

None. Its global hotkeys work without Accessibility access, and every tool runs offline on your Mac.

NotchjarNotch Utility

Calendar (for your next meeting), Camera (for the mirror preview) and Automation (to read and control what's playing in your music apps). Bluetooth is only needed if you turn on the Bluetooth module. Timer alerts use notifications.

MailloftEmail Client

Mailloft works with IMAP and SMTP accounts. The setup wizard finds the server settings for common providers and links to the provider's app-password page; most providers require an app password rather than your normal password. Passwords are stored in your Keychain.

GizmojarFile & Media Toolbox

Only Speech Recognition, and only for the Transcribe action. Everything else works without extra permissions. Your original files are never changed.

GigabroomDisk Cleaner

Without it, macOS hides some folders from scans, so totals are incomplete. Grant it in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Full Disk Access. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation, and items go to the Trash.

ProcowlActivity Monitor

Procowl runs without a privileged helper, so macOS doesn't let it read details of processes owned by root or other users. It needs no special permissions; alerts use notifications.

CodelassoAI Agent Workspace

The command-line agents you want to run (for example Claude Code, Codex CLI or Gemini CLI) installed on your Mac, plus git — and the GitHub CLI (gh) if you want to open pull requests from Codelasso. Alerts use notifications.
